This little backyard cottage oozes character and comfort. It’s a no-fuss rental suite that provides privacy for the tenants, proximity for the owners. With its small footprint and at-grade design, the suite fits seamlessly into the lanescape.
– BACKGROUND
This quaint Garden Suite was designed by Space Squared. Rather than demolish an existing single garage, the homeowners opted to keep the structure. They decided to build their new garden suite beside the existing garage creating a pair of similarly sized structures.
– THE IDEA
The Garden Suite’s main floor is efficient and compact. Aside from core living and sleeping areas, the suite also features a handy attached shed for extra storage. With so much light, generous space above grade, and your own South-facing deck, the suite is an attractive rental alternative.
